    White raw silk shawl

    The raw silk of the shawl seemed starched and a bit stiff upon receiving, but, after just one machine wash (on gentle/cold cycle and line dry), the silk weave has become extremely soft, light, airy and pleasant. It perfectly regulates the body temperature during meditation. The hand woven artisan feel of the fabric is gorgeous and luxurious in its simple perfection. I am so pleased I am ordering more as gifts.
